Cheech need your help!

I fished a local river tonight with Nightfish, Stef & my son. I tied on the Stimulator that you tied for a swap. As soon as the fly hit the water a fish hit the fly and I ended up losing both the fish and fly.

So what I am asking is if I could buy two flies from you. One for my sample and one to fish with until I master your pattern.

If this sounds like something you would do for me I would appreciate it.

I could do that. I need to get some more of those style of hooks first. Was your fly tied with a yellow body and an orange head? Was it all grizzly hackle, or was it grizz and brown. No need to buy em' I'll tie some up and send them to you. I think I still have your address.

Caddyfly- It is just a stimulator tied with a foam body.

Yes it had the yellow body & orange head. I can not recall if it was all grizzly hackle or not.

I know Trout4x's son will really appreciate your contribution. On the ride back into town he made sure to fill Nick and I in on the event. "Dad threw a temper tantrum when he lost that fly!!" Who knew your fly would be so notorious (citations, tantrums, maybe you better NOT send him any more)! :)

We could save Cheech the postage. Since he & I both live in SLC I could just pick 'em up for you and hang on to 'em until we fish together again. Now, if only I could remember where YOU live;)
It was pretty funny how quick your son was to rat you out and then continue the roast. Like I said before, he's welcome to come along any time!

T4X wouldn't let me get close enough to that fly to get a good look at it. What hook did you use, and was the head made of foam as well?

The head is just made of orange dubbing. It is tied on a 200R type hook. I saw it in a magazine a few months ago. I have them tied and they are going in the mail this week.... That means "look in your mail box in a month or two".... No really, They are ready to go.
