Bent Hooks :(

I bought a pack of mustad bass bug hooks a couple months ago, and immediatly threw them on my dash board where they have sat since. I got them out to tie em up and most of them are bent! Not sharp bends like it was caused by force, but long smooth bends like it was caused by heat, and these are big - 1/0 hooks. Has anyone ever noticed anything like this?

Not trying to be off the wall here or confrontational- but are you sure they were not that way when you bought them and its there for a reason? I know- tough to say anything with out seeing them- but the heat that it takes to this can only be done at the factory or some peoples neo's.

No, I may have bought them that way, not sure. For sure not supposed to be that way though, bends are on the shank, some going to the left, some to the right, some up or down..........maybe I could drop them into Cheech's waders and he could staighten them back out for me......LOL

By the time I'm done with them they'll look like pretzels.

They do make some with odd bends for making wooden or styro poppers.
