I was just wondering if anyone has any info on the fishing and water conditions.

Minersville was recently gillnetted by the DWR...I guess they found about what they expected--not lots of fish, but some really nice ones. Fish averaged about 16-18 inches with some exceeding 22. Apparently, with the low water, not as many fish have been stocked in the lake for fear of losing them. The reservoir is down considerably from last year at this time and it looks as though there is little hope of getting any water out there this year. My bet is that the reservoir will be drained again this year and the fish will be lost yet again.
