Kolob conditions

I am heading down to Zion's this week and was wondering if any of you southerners could tell me the conditions of the reservoir and if the gate is open. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am guesstimating another 10 days before there is open water??? Unless anyone has insight to enlighten us...

It will still be tough to get into Kolob. It is going to be getting stormed on again for the next two days.....

Still Frozen!

I just went up there this afternoon.

I would guess another 6 - 8 days.

I'm headed down that way for the weekend. I'm sure Kolob will still be frozen, are there any other waters to fish down that way?

Yankee Meadow still had ice as of yesterday. It will still be another week before Kolob is fishable.
