Can anyone tell me how to tie a Madam X?
I want to add it to my stream fly box.
Any help anyone can give me I would be very grateful.
Thank You.

Elk hair tail.
Yellow thread body.
Elk hair wing and head (bullethead style).
White rubber legs tied in an "X" pattern at bullet head.

Look at the bottom left corner on page 12 of the dry fly section in the Umpqua fly gallery at www.umpqua.com

Don't be afraid to try it in other color combinations either. Green, olive, peacock, brown, rust, orange, and all black are variations I use.

I've had some success on the Green with a Royal Parachute Madam X.
