The March Madness Swap winners are:
1: Hookem_Cookem (Derek) - 54 flies
2: Fish a Fly (Trevor) - 32 flies
3: Fishin Idaho (Josh) - 18 flies
Congrats to the winners. Flies will go out towards the end of the week, once I get the rest of them in and finish tying Mike's.
Steelie, you should have taken Syracuse for one more game. You would have 32 flies on the way and we could have prevented a foreigner, um I mean an Idahoan, from getting our flies.
Derek, email me your strategy tips. I am tired of losing these damn things year after year.

Boy, I just barely snuck in there by one point. I wish I felt bad about taking your flies, but I dont :)
Steelie,
How was your Salmon R. adventure? I could have done better, that's for sure. Pretty slow.
Later, Josh.

I nominate Junge to be our "Utah on the Fly" Sports Fly Swap coordinator. Somebodys gotta do it, and he did such a great job with this one. Anyone else want to vote for him?
So any way whens the next sports fly swap I need to fill my fly box.

in a word - burrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! cold weather, cold sholder from the fish, cold everything. I had 3 fish caught in the 1st hour we got there - I was sure it was going to be a very magical year. 3 days later, still only had 3 fish. Oh well, thats steelhead for you. I did have fish on everyday, just couldn't put them in the net, noticed the fish were extra big and frisky this year (2 of the 3 were about 35-36 - thats big!). I think the cold weather and the extreme numbers of people putting pressure on them, had the the fish uninterested. Doug Miller sure screwed it up with his report a week ago, I talked to several people who came up just because of that report. At times I wish we had gone to the Green or the Provo to get away from the crowds. I've got a few holes that in the past have always held fish, and very rarely see fishermen - the few times we worked our way into them this year, the fish spooked at the first sign of a fly line. I did catch my 2nd wild fish though - a male about 25".....

I agree with troutflys9, I'd be up for a NBA playoff pool-swap, anybody else?

HA, that would be like taking candy from a baby.

I'm in favor of an NBA playoff-pool swap. And based on my performance in the NCAA swap you all don't have to worry about me getting any of the flies.

I've been searching for a free online bracket manager for the NBA playoffs, all I've found so far costs $, anybody know of one? Sounds like maybe we have something going here, playoffs start on the 19th.

Steelie,
I am thinking that something may show-up on either ESPN or sportsline.com when we get a little closer.
