Does anybody have any tips or pointers on this strecth of river? I heard that this strecth has a good hatch of Stoneflies. Am I ahead of this hatch?
Patterns/Common Sizes?
Good Locations?
I will be heading up there this weekend. If not, I'll go hit the Weber. Please feel free to email me jonwilliams1976@comcast.net

I would assume that the gin clear water of last weekend will be a different story this weekend according to the weather reports (warm days are coming). It was pretty quiet last saturday in the 4 hrs. of snowstorm I was there. I nymphed only and saw 1 riser. Caught a few. The best part is the clean almost moss free condition of the river bottom compared to Ogden canyon.
Watch for the salmon flies in May.

Give High Country a call in Ogden maybe they can help out a little more.

What about the north fork? It kind of caught my eye the other day while map browsing.

I fished there several times over the winter. I fished there yesterday, too. Very few bugs on the water yesterday. I only saw about a half dozen risers in several hours. Reports are available on the "other" less traveled and trying to keep it that way web site :).
These flies have produced trout for me there this year:
olive hares ear
green brassie
red brassie
caddis
wooly worm
adams
parachute adams
bwo
foam bwo
foam pmd
bead head zebra midge
copper john
Have fun. The campers are starting to hatch there.
BTW, I saw a big trout chasing something yesterday. As Tiny Elvis would say, "That thing was HUGE, man!".
