I am fishing this day. I generally fish the lower provo, but would love to try somwhere new, like maybe the middle provo or some stillwater. I doubt I'll have time to hit the Green. We could meet at my cabin at Vivian Park, have a little flyswap time until the sun is up, then catch some big ones.

Wow, I had no idea such a short friendly inquiry about fishing companions could warrant so much sarcasm. I actually was thinking about Utah Lake to practice my bonefishing techniques casting to some bass. I am attempting to get a few other fishing venues in my repotoire because all those Provo River fatties are getting tired fo me constantly letting them go.

Very Cool, I just bought a tube last summer and only got to use it once at fishlake. I didn't really know what I was doing either but hooked into one nice one that drug me around until it broke me off and caught a bunch of perch off the top. So maybe I can tag along when some of the regulars from this site hit Strawberry in the spring or whenever the ice melts and watch for some pointers. This monday I will probably end up on the Provo, as it is the only place I know how to fish in the winter, and I still haven't thrown the 4 wt I just finished yet. I would try to tag along tomorrow but the Olympics is screwing up my ability to bail from work as often.

I think casting for rising carp would be awesome. I have read about flyfishing for carp but never tried it. I don't think I'll unveil the new 4 wt for it though, but like I said, I would go for that anytime.

Definitely pencil me in for the Ice of @ the Berry. I'll check on tomorrow, I may be able to hit it for a couple hours.
