Microfibett question...

While at the sportsmans show I saw a fellow that tied his fibett tails in by laying the tail at a 45 degree angleand after securing it he pulled the other half back and tied it off. Thus leaving a split tail with obvious one side thicker than the other.

Well there in lies my question. Can anyone find a serious objection to this method? Can the fish possibly tell the difference?
