Does anyone know how Diamond Fork is doing right now? I think I am going to skip out on work for a couple of hours tomorrow and hit it. Any suggestions would be great. Or if anyone would like to head up around 11am or so, thats even better. Please let me know. I can be reached at mwest@btinc.com.

Thanks.

I'm not ragging on you or anything but...

Does anyone use the search option. Diamond fork has been talked about more than Trout4x's swap rules and his forgetting the cheeze put together.

Rooster was asking for a report, not how to get there or about the tunnel progress.

Icthys,

Actually, I have been reading the threads on the tunnel updates in the conservation section, and it got me to thinking that I wanted to cruise up tomorrow. I have never fished it this time of year, and I am just kind of looking for some direction on what is working etc...If that is somewhere on the board, and I have missed it, I suppose I just need to look a little harder. If you could, let me know where I am missing the good info.

Thanks.

My apologies if needed.

I knew there were a few threads on DF and assumed they had report info. I haven't read the threads to find out.

No apologies needed Bro. I have read through most of the the DF posts, and there was not much in the way of report info. By the way, nice freaking bow in the picture section. Good times....

Plain and simple most of us that fish DF won't post on it. as much as it gets talked about it is not heavily fished and we want to keep it that way. send me a board mail and I will let you know what happened when I went last.

I'd agree. I fished it ALOT last year and never seen another flyfisherman. (that actually knew what they were doing) Hoppers and droppers are the rule in the summer but I have never fished it this time of year.

P.S. I read that the tunnel is now completed. Hope this opens access up.

the Tunnel is just one part of it. It is still over a year away before the upper portion below the Springville Crossing is open.

fished it last weekend and the water was cooooold! The fish seemed to be hunkered down & wouldn't move very far for a fly... I'd fish super small nymph patterns...
