Yes it was.

After a half hour or so of getting to know each other and me ramblin' we got down to some tying.

It was good to see that many people show up. Hope it continues. I knew some of you already, but it was good to see you again and meet Teewinot.

I'm sure there were those that benifited from Stefanie's generosity. Thanks again Stef and I'm sure the recepients feel the same.

It was a good start and I especially liked the diversity of the people who attended. Good to meet Teewinot; Hope you can stay local. Good to see Trout4x again; Let's put that Green River trip together. Bob, thanks for the coffee stop; You got me thinking about planning next summer's trips already! Next meeting should be really fun when everyone is tying (and talking).

Larry, let me know if you want me to enter and/or keep a database of attendees or if there's anything else I can do. In any case, I would like a copy of the list to help me put names to the faces for next time.

My Face is so swollen and bruised it's funny. I didn't feel like tieing while on pain medications, that would have made my flies even more messed up than they already are :) Count me in from now on.

I'm excited to be part of a group that will actually tie and fish...not just talk about it! And yes...I'm extremely relieved to be rejected as the sec/treasurer! In fact, I'm so relieved I volunteer to bring treats to the Jan 7th meeting to cover your generosity!

Wish I could have stayed longer but it was great to meet everyone. Look forward to tying with you all and maybe I can convince Bob to invite me to the coffee chats. Geez...didn't know you all we having so much fun without me!
