There is a flyshop in Logan selling these rods at a very good discount. I was wondering if anyone has used these rods and can give some recommendations and comparisons. Thanks.

I need another rod like I do another flyfishing website!
Which shop has them? I haven't been X-mas shopping yet.
Other than that I don't know a thing about them.

If you get one of the ADG rods, let me know what you think.

Jim does a great job running the place. I'll stop by tomorrow.

Round Rocks is Moving
I was in there the other day and Jim infomed me that they will be moving across town to the original Rivers Wild building right on the Logan. He said they anticipate opening their new store around the first week of December. I'm excited to see the new store. Round Rocks is a great store, and Jim's always been a great help.

Are they going to hold a liquidation sale like that not so famous furniture store?
Last I heard is RoundRocks was trying to get rid of all the flies in the Store Front before they moved. They were selling them for 20 cents apiece. The catch is you had to buy $100 worth at a time and it only included the flies in the store and not the ones back in the warehouse. Not sure what selection they have left but it was pretty extensive before they started this. If 3 or 4 guys got together they could stock there flybox's pretty cheap. I don't know if they are liquidating anything else.
Also I don't own an ADG rod but I cast one out in the parking lot at Roundrocks once. I felt it was a pretty good rod for the money.

I stopped in to see Jim this morning and everything from the front is gone(except for his tidy office). They have lots more in the rear that they are in the process of moving and are looking to open up the new place in a week or so.
Jim will let everyone know when.

HA HA HA. I sense a large amount of sarcasm there.
A fly tying bench isn't complete until it has enough materials on it (scattered everywhere) to tie every fly in LaFontaine's "Trout Flies" twice. I think Jim is almost there.
You're a great guy Jim.

Loving sarcasm. I told him it reminded me of Tom's Service in Wellsville.

Has anyone bought these and built a rod? How do the ADG rod blanks fish, cast?
