I will be spending T-day and that night with my wife's Grandparents in Provo. I've talked my wife into letting me go fishing for a couple of hours the morning after (Friday the 30th). It will probably by my last fishin expedishin this year :( and would like to have a successful outing.
Anyone care to take a rookie out fishing and show me the ropes of the much heralded "Provo River fishing experience"?

you would have expected a zoo but there was hardly anyone on the water. There is there fair share of people but most often than not there is less crowds, that is if its anything like the 4th and 24th

when you can fish :( I'm sure Jason will be able to keep me from screwing up someone else's experience.
In all honesty, I have seen exactly 1 other fisherperson on a river I was on that I wasn't fishing with (someone had spooked a stretch RAW and I came across).
I'm expecting that the almighty Provo will change that. A new "rules of the river" learning opportunity!

I have been trying to get out with Jason B. for a while now. The day after Thanksgivign would be great to hit it for a couple hours.
Wondering about this Saturday on the Provo. BYU and Utah are playing in Salt Lake. That may keep about 30,000 people off the river???

It may keep 30,000 people out of the stadium. Go to the game you may have it all to yourself.
