Our next tying club meeting will be Nov 7th, 6:30pm at Western Rivers on 9th S. 11th E. The theme for the evening will be favorite fall patterns like BWO's, midges, and streamers. Please post a reply if you plan to come. See you all then.

Not to be nit picky but I think western is on 11th east..........

Hey now, didn't you notice I posted that at 1:18am. I was probably asleep when I did it. ;-) And aren't you employeed by that 'other' fly shop? How do you know where WR is? J/K. So will you be stopping by next week? We'd love to have you share a few secret patterns. FISH ON!

I'm friends with some of the guys at WR. So I have a pretty good idea where it is..............

Maybe I'll tie with you guys???????? Hmmmmm, I'll have to check the schedule...............

I might be free that night to come. Can I bring dues and show up and check it out? What else would I need to bring?
I'm not sure yet what my shedule is going to be like, but I'd like to come.

If you're going to be a regular attendee of the club meetings, it's then appropriate to pay dues. If you'd like to come and see what it's all about then go for it. Come hang out with us and decide if you'd like to come back and be a regular. Bring your fly tying stuff and share a few of your favorite fall patterns. We just have a good time, tell some stories, talk about fishing and tying, and share some of our favorite flies. Hope to see you then.

The dues are only part of what is required to join the club. The real membership only comes upon proof of catching a Carp on a fly tied by yourself.

At least those are the rules as explained to me by Jason.....:)

Well, it looks like Brent is our only official member so far. This is the only photo I have that proves an individual worthy of being a member of the UOTFly Tying Club.
