Hiya guys,
I own an 8wt St. John combo from Cabelas and I've had the chance to fish with the 5wt Wind River combo several times. These are nice rods for the money. The combo comes with a matching cahill reel. I've used both rod and reel exclusively for the past year and a half without any problems from them. I recently upgraded to a sweet little 5wt combo, but I plan on hanging onto the 8wt for striped and largemouth bass and as a backup to the 5wt.
