Did a bit of driving Sat. Found open water----- found fish- will be back if I can get to it, with the amazing amount of snow that fell last night. 171/2" in driveway last night and still snowing. I will be pontooning - let you know it goes.

I tried Treasureton Sunday and got skunked. I was using a orange scud. A guy there told me to try a big dark midge, still nothing. I could see the bottom but no fish.

I went over to the Narrows about 2pm and hooked 5 fish on 5 casts. (only landed 3) Landed one more rainbow later. It was a great day up there! Deer, rabbit, turkeys, ducks, bald eagle, and LOTS of snow! Good thing I got out cause we are snowed in today.

Last two weeks I have visited my old stomping grounds, banks of the Snake west of Blackfoot and both weeks I have had a great time catching great fish. They were taking just about anything with a bead head..my brother even caught some nice fish on a dry..imagine that at the end of January.
