Parasol Emerger

I saw an article in one of the fly fishing mags on an emerger pattern called a "Parasol Emerger"........ so I tied some up. I haven't had an opurtunity to fish them yet. Anyone here tried this pattern before?

Saw the article too. Strange lookin' critters. The authors say go ahead and laugh cause they do too. Haven't tied any yet, but I can think of several situations were they could come in handy.

I fished them on the middle and lower provo last week and had one strike at a parasol but that was it....
