I fished the river you were wondering about at the High Country fly tying. The river you often thought about fishing but never went because you were not sure about it.

Well it was great fishing. If you are up this way and want to get together and fish it let me know.

If you do not remember which one for sure email me for location.

I know which one. Quickly tell me how the water level is. I'm sure its low, but how low? Hoppers? Did you try the Twisted one?

Normal flow, not low at all.

Hoppers yes, I did not try the twisted one when I went. Did not have any more than the one you gave me. I am hoping to go try them out tonight.

Sounds like you need to offer a no loss guarantee to your R&D guys ;)

No loss guarantees? I'm still trying to make good on the guaranteed to catch fish clause :)

Maybe trout flies are like wild geese. They don't know where they are but they are not lost. (Happily hanging in a tree.)

Nice article in Utah Outdoors Magazine. I like reading stories in which I can relate to, the story reminded me of a recent outing to C.C. Good job!

Thanks, QG. I haven't seen the article yet. Will go look for a copy today. I thought the article would be in the September issue, but glad to see it out earlier. Hopefully, I can get some similar pieces in the future.
