Anybody had succes flyfishing lake powell. I will be going at the end of the month, and was hoping for some pointers as I have never fished it. I was planning on tying a shad immation.

Have fished it many times and you want to concentrate on the boils. Go with a top water popper in white. Short, jurkie retrieves seem to get them. Cast into the boils and hang on! Lost my pole in the beginning of the year, even before they started to boil. So hang onto your rod.... If you cannot find the boils, go with a white and chartruese clouser minnow, or zonker silver and white....
