I'm interested in any info on the Duchesne River (non tribal lands) - such as # of potential people/ if there are any water stretches that are better than others, is it worth the drive etc. - any info greatly appreciated -
Do you want info on the West Fork, or the main Duchesne? Two different rivers...
Cheers

Preferably the West Fork of the Duchesne River, & any info on the Duchesne river north of where the West fork joins the Duchesne would be helpful also

Fished the north fork a month or so ago. Very low. West fork had not opened yet but took a stroll along what used to be one of the quiet places in the state. The extreemly low water conditions over the years has made this west fork nothing but a memory placeof how good fishing here used to be...

You're right and the North Fork isn't much different.
This dought is killing a lot of fish, 'in place'. Pity.
Bait fishers will think this is great, they can just hit what pools are left and fill the cooler. The state is just going to plant more anyway.
I guess I should be kinder to the "halt and the lame". It's just their stupidity or greed costs us all more.
I'm going to stop now.
I'm not sure if the stream coming out of Mirror lake is the Duchesne or which fork it may be. If I'm wrong please let me know. I was up there over the weekend and the stream was almost completely dry. It's really sad!!! I didn't follow it down more than 500 yards or so.

That is the North Fork which I believe has a higher and wetter drainage then the West Fork.
thanks,
It was extremely low as of last Sunday the 4th.
