Im going to seattle aug 13, wondering if anyone knows about some trout streams in that area, anything would be appreciated
You might want to drive a little north of there and check out the Skagit system near Bellingham. There are some good tribs, too. Cascade River in that area is sweet also...

Check out http://www.washingtonflyfishing.com and take a look at their forums. They have nice forums similar to this site (but not quite as nice). The people there are friendly (but very hostile to any mention of fishing with anything but a fly - very).
I was just in Washington a couple of weeks ago and did a little fishing at some small lakes in the Skagit Valley area. My wife's from there so I visit at times. There are a lot of choices there. Unfortunately I got sick and was unable to fish a couple of rivers I wanted to try out for steelhead, particularly the North Fork of the Stillaguamish near Arlington which was the first fly-fishing only river in America, and the Sauk up above it which runs into the Skagit River. They are beautiful rivers, the type that cause pain to look at but not be able to fish because you have no more time. But, there are a lot of beautiful places to fish there. Those ones are about and hour and a half north of Seattle.
Try the forums at that site. I'm sure you'll find some helpful info at least.
