Wiper Tournament

This ofcourse has nothing to do with fly-fishing, but its going out to all the other Utah fishing boreds and I thought incase theres anyone here who likes to fish for wipers they should read this.

Hooked fishing tackle is hosting a wiper fishing tournamnet if anyone wants in on that.Its realativley cheap and should be lots of fun. A wiper tournament should be one of the best tournaments in the state, big fish, lots of weight, good numbers, excellent fighters. This will be a fun tournament to watch and to fish. Entries are limited so get down there early if you want in. Applications will be available starting tommorow afternoon. Hooked is in kaysville off I-15 on main street. I just got word from my brother that he has the new state record wiper. He is just waiting for the certificate.... I believe it was 6lbs ?oz and 24" long. Nice fish, and he said he has caught them bigger, but didn't know the state record was only 5lbs something. So he kept this one to see if it would beat it! It did. Course I haven't convinced him to fish for them on the fly. He caught this one on cut bait! Bummer.....
