I thought I would give see how this new forum worked. I am heading up to the Madison River. I will be fishing the area near reynolds pass. Has anyone been up there in that area recently and how has fishing been?

Pinetree,
I hope this helps.....The Salmonflies are thick in the walk/wade
water from Quake Lake to Lyons Bridge. Expect it to be good for the remainder of the week. The summer blockbuster “Hydropsyche” is showing for
the next 4 to 6 weeks, with evening shows beginning around 7pm, but the late
night thriller being the best form 9pm on past dark. Look for matinee
showings of “Egg laying Hydropsyche” early from 9am until noon. PMD’s are
also showing on the other screen mid day, with sporadic hatches occurring
from late morning through early afternoon. Keep an eye out for PMD spinners
occurring in the evening simultaneously with emerging caddis. This activity
fools many an angler every year, so be observant and aware, and you will
have success!
