We're going to be trying something new for the reports section. What's the new gimmick you ask?

No posting of reports.

What?!? Yes, you read right... No posting of reports. However, here's where the experiment comes in. If you want to know about how a given spot is fishing, please post your request in the Report Requests forum. If another UtahOTF member wants to hook you up with the skinny on that particular spot, then you'll get an email from someone who's willing to share that information with you. I am betting that in most instances, if you've contributed to the site, you're likely to receive more information than you'll ever need.

What brings this on? A number of things. First, I've gotten a LOT of email on both sides of this issue. I see this as the ultimate compromise. If you want or need a report, please ask for one. You'll probably get it. On the other side of the coin, there won't be any more claims of "hot spotting" due to reports on the site as there simply won't be any. Second, we're starting to run really, *really* thin on bandwidth for the site. I think that this experiment may give us a little needed breathing room in that department.

Total insanity? Viable innovation? Idiotic concept? Time will tell...

Tight lines and fish on!
