Well this is a first ever posting under this category, so I thought I'd put my MOKE footprint in here first. KLOMP!!
Dubbing Fluffer and Bobbin Rethreader / Wax Reamer Tool....By MOKE
Needed;
Bamboo BBQ skewer
10 lb Mono Line (apprx.)
1 piece of 50 lb (apprx) for wax reamer.
Velcro Hooks material 1" wide or less.
Razor Blade
~DUBBING FLUFFER~
Take razor blade and slightly split the end of the BBQ skewer.
Insert the Velcro into the slitted skewer and spiral the velcro back down over itself. This locks the Velcro into place.
Then whip finish the velcro to the skewer at about the mid point.
What you end up with is similar to a Velcro "rat-tailed file".
~BOBBIN RETHREADER~
Take the 10lb Mono and form a loop of sufficient depth to pass through the bobbin.
At the same time add in the piece of 50lb mono to use as a wax clearing device for the bobbin tube.
Whip finish these items to the opposite end of the same BBQ skewer that you used to build the Dubbing Fluffer
In the end you have a loop and a single ended piece of mono on this end.
The loop is for bobbin threading and the 50 lb is your wax reamer.
This is one of the handiest tools that I have!
