Monster Lake

Anybody been there ? I just saw some pics from last weekend HUGE bows and browns, a little pricey though is it worth it ??

Monster was drawn down a bit too much last year, lost alot of the forage fish, thus not as many obese 'bows. If you want to pay to play, Piedmont is cheaper ($100?). And according to some guy who writes books and conducts seminars on this sort of thing, currently, peidmont has better fish than Monster, and is a hell of a lot closer...

But I haven't fished either one, so what do I know....

I went there 3 years ago in early May. Coldest freakin' day of my life. I caught between 15 and 20 (or in Monster Lake terms, about 100lbs) fish before becoming hypothermic. I felt dirty upon leaving.
