I know this site is now going through some growing pains and getting the final bugs out and it looks like it will be a 1st class operation. As for me It won't matter one whit if you get those previous "8000" post put back on or not.

I like the idea of "Starting Over" especially so close to the new year......you know.."Auld Lang Syne" and all that goes with it.

Thanks for the compliments Larry! I'm glad that you see the site coming together. As for starting over with a "clean slate," I tend to agree, there's certainly something to be said for that.

Amen, but the 8000 posts did contain some very useful info, if it can be restored, I vote for restoring that data base...

A couple of other nice things about this site are:

1- Its a local site so posts have meaning to just about everyone, and

2- You can actually increase your knowledge without having to wade through a lot of the B.S. that is posted on other sites.

I agree with everyone. It's a great site and it is a daily (or sometime 3X daily) escape for me. Good work.

Mike and Jason,
Great site, keep up the good work. As for the previous posts, there was a lot of great info in there. Some of the posts next year you could go and look at what people had posted. Kinda like a UOTF journal. All in all its looking great

Mike and Jason,
My thanks also for hours of enjoyable browsing. I have to agree with Shazerblaze, it is usually a 3X or more a day addiction! Also as Mcgx2 mentioned, it is local Info that is very useful. Personally, the thing I think seperates this site from other similar sites is that it is not full of advertisments, sponsor links and stuff that is annoying to me. Keep up the good work!
Mike the problem I had the first time registering was not a problem this time, went smooth as silk! Thanks for the quick response. Fish On!

I'm with Jeff Brooks on restoring the previous posts if possible. Loosing those posts is like loosing a good chunk of your fishing journal. Alot of good info gone.

It realy sucks that we lost 8,000 posts of good data, I never got over that, so I thought I'd dig this up and publically mourn the loss.
