Two years ago (the title says March 2007) I purchased a Hyde Pro Series High Side Fiberglass drift boat. I hoped that I would be able to get out and use it a lot, but I haven't. Around the time I bought the boat, some changes occurred at work. I haven't been able to use the boat as I hoped. It has been used a total of 5 times.

I've held onto it for these two years, hoping that things would change and that I would be able to get out more.

I now need to sell it.

I know that it is customary for this thread to list a price ... However, half of the purpose of this thread to get a feel for what I should be asking for such a boat.

There a few minor dings on the bottom, consistent with a couple of uses. It is a beautiful navy blue with gray and black accents. After each use I cleaned it good and put it under covered storage. For the past 2 months I have had it outside under a cover.

It comes with the following options:

-Bow storage w/ built in leg brace, casting deck and cup holders
-Dry front compartment storage
-One removable front passenger seat
-welded rowers storage box with double split lid
-Standard foot brace
-low back rowers seat
-Rear pedestal with removable rear leg brace
-Full Floor Anchoring System
-Anchor Arm w/ 30 lb. cleated anchor with 30 feet of rope and anchor clip
-Anchor nest (attached to trailer)
-Recessed and lined rod holders
-Aqualon Hyde Cover
-Cataract 9 foot graphite oars with Hyde floating blades
-Spare carlise oar
-Deluxe galvanized trailer
-3 adult sized life jackets
-One throwable PFD

I would appreciate your thoughts on the price that I should be asking.

I am accepting offers.

$7-8K ? Probably no where near what you paid for it.

Reads like a great boat. I have been "shopping" for one for a little while. I'm just not ready to buy yet. From what I can tell from the Hyde website ( http://www.hydeoutdoors.com/boats/used/ )it seems like you may be in the $6500-7000 dollar range. FWIW I commonly check craigs list for SE Idaho and SLC, as well as boat dealers like RO, Clacka, Hyde, Boulder boat works, Hog Island, etc. Is this the price range that you are thinking? Oh yeah, sorry about your work situation that infringes on your fishing.

Keep the boat and quite that POS job. If you have a job that does'nt allow you to take a couple days off at least every other week then that job isn't worth having no matter how much you make.

Just to bump this thread again,

I'm with Blackdog, hire yourself a new boss - one that likes to fish and row!

Would love to.

Must pay bills and feed kids.

I know these are lousy excuses.
