Where to send my dad along the Mirror lake highway?

my dad is going to Evanston via the Mirror Lake Highway this week and wanted to hit some streams with his buddy. Small accessible streams would be just the ticket for them.

I have not fished that area.. I could use a few tips to try to get him pointed in the right direction to throw some hoppers. He can't hike along way he is 82 , his buddy is 87. I read another post that suggested the North Slope.. I assume that's kind of the general area ( Mirror Lake) where he will be? I know nothing about that area.

East Fork of Bear would be nice and simple. Upper provo or Beaver Creek are easy access and mucho variety as well.

Would be simple too. Either in the campground or in Christmas Meadows
