I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm going to be getting some Patagonia waders and as there are very few dealers around here, I'm going to have to go by their sizing chart to hopefully get the right size. I've been in cheep neo's up to this point and even though we just had a baby my wife is nice enough to let me get some watermaster II's. They aren't cheap so I don't wanna screw up and get the wrong size. So my question is for those that own a pair...is their sizing chart accurate? I know neo's and breathable waders don't fit the same and so... ya. Anyway, sorry if this is a random thread but any feedback would be appreciated.

This may or may not help, but I noticed my pair runs a tad bit bigger than the same size Simms G3. But yes, I would say they are true to size if not slighly bigger in the leg area.

I'M 6'2" AND 215 lbs. and have a size large watermaster II, they fit me just fine but don't have much room to bulk up underneath during the winter months. so i would say the sizing chart is pretty accurate

I have a size large. I'm at 185lb so they are good in the length department but plenty big in the girth. My only issue was the stocking foot size is 10 (they say 9)and up and I wear an 8 1/2 so that has been a small issue stuffing all that neo into a boot. I had to go to a larger size boot and I think It is because the Neo is thicker underfoot than my previous waders so it takes more space to stuff them in.
I've been real happy with them and wouldn't change.

Thanks a ton for the responses. I was more worried about width because i'm a skinny guy (i use anchors when i wade:) Sounds like I'll be good with a small. Stoked.

Master of the Obvious:
Try 'em on first?????
:)
WR has 'em...worth the drive vs the hassle of returning them after buying them somewhere else (online?).

Way to skip the "Hodgeman" stage and go right to the good stuff. Was your wife still on the painkillers when she gave you the green light? Good luck when she sobers up and concrates on the baby. If they don't fit right, you can always exchange them. You will just have to wait a little longer to be able to use them.

Wow...Neo-nuthuggers to Patagonia breathables...that's going to be a nice change!

Check with Blue Ribbon Flies. They have a 40% off sale on them.

Maybe WR has the same sale......

You could always see how generous your wife is and let you drive up to Dillon to the Patagonia store there, and of course just have to stop and fish Clark Canyon and the Beaverhead.

Ya I'm stoked. I taught myself to fly fish when I was 12 but mostly wet waded. Started off with some rubber hip boots and finally got some neo's. Now, i'm stepping up in life. It's easier to make the jump to Patagonia's when I'm getting my wII's for like $125. Very excited. Wet waded today and had a blast. Not gonna be able to do that much longer though.

Forget the Patties and go with the Simms. I used to be a big fan of the SST's but the watermasters have never been right. I'm on my third pair-seam leaks after 50 days. Simms - 170 days and counting, not even a pinhole.
