I am heading up to Boise in the next few days. I will be there for around a week. I then am going to drop down to the Blackfoot Idaho Falls area. Should I bring my toon? Anyone crossing those areas in the same time frame? Lets hook up. I also wouldn't mind if anyone has some suggestions on what to hit up this time of year and or their favorite shops in Southern Idaho. I am having fun stopping in at all the shops I run into. It is strange how similar yet how different each one is. Maybe there is a photo project there.
Thanks
Black Fox, I hope you know I will be disappointed if I don't get to meet you

fish the South Fork of the Boise.... there are some spots you can wade.
As you make it back to this end of the state, come on by. We can float a big river or wade a creek, though lately I am leaning towards wading creeks.
As my wife is now 8.5 months pregnant anyone who wants to fish with me should do it in the next couple of weeks.

South Fork of the Boise is awesome fishing. Worth the time. Try the Big Wood if you get that direction.

used to be my favorite river in the state (when I was 8 and tossing spinners) 25+ years ago. It used to be filled with big wild rainbows that fought like mad, and did I say BIG. Now it is mostly a put and take fishery with a lot more pressure and a big fish is 15 inches. I can still divulge some of my favorite big wood locations if asked nicely.
