I have a like new Sage XP 690-4 that I'd like to trade for a 490-4 XP. I bought this rod when I was planning on doing alot of fishing in Montana and Yellowstone but I've used it once. The rod is as new, the cork isn't even dirty. I know as soon as I don't have it I'll wish I did, but I hate to see it sitting idle. Thanks.

How about a Sage SP 490-3? Sweet rod and factory reconditioned, just have too many 4s and would like a 6wt.

Hello Flashabou,

Would you be willing to sell the xp?

Thanks,
Mike

Hey, are you willing to sell your rod?

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but, unfortunately, I am out a six weight and need to find something. My rod has gone missing (stolen). If anyone happens to see it on eBay, KSL or in a pawn shop please let me know.

It is a 2 piece Sage RPL 690B. (I know, a little old school now). It is a beautiful rod that means a lot. My dad and I built it together. It will be easy to ID as it is marked "Custom build for Brad Swenson, May 1998" in gold lettering.

Anyway, yeah, I'm interested in it. Please email me through the site if it is still for sale.

Hey bswens you might want to post this in a separate thread for all to see and to keep an eye out for it... it will get burried in here.

That's f'n BS that someone stole your rod!

Thanks for the response. I really like the rod for bigger water so all I really need to do is make more trips to Yellowstone and Montana. I'm going to try to hold out for A 490 XP for a bit.
