Chris all these incessant gay jokes and hint towards other people are always in the closet has me thinking. Maybe your the one with issues and need to look in the mirror? But again I don't really care what anyones sexual preference is.

I love takes on a drenched hopper.... Don't they all sink after taking a beating for a while?

Ouch....

You = single, hang out with boys fishing, sushi & drink dates with boys , camp with boys, defends those fisherman who need none (what the crush was about), etc..

Me = married to a woman, 2 sons (boy producer), sushi dates with my wife, drinks with my wife, don't need to defend Lance (titles & trophies speak for themselves) etc...

I can light a fire too.

Settle down prime time.

Nich,

One of my favorite's is a Transpar-ant fly (epoxy ant). The translucent look of this fly is killer!

Also don't overlook the effective simplicity of the good ole Dave's hopper with some split shot.

A submerged Elkhair Caddis has done well for me in the past. Dont even attempt to sink a Frumpy Grumpy. It aint gonna sink.

The tung-action hopper is still in progress...basically a bullethead style with a bead & lead.

I was wrong. It was the FlyFisherman magazine not Fly Rod and Reel. There are two different patterns in there.
