Guys...I need some help.

the TMC 9395 in a size #2 is one of my most frequently used hooks. I've looked all over the web to find someone who is selling 100 packs of these in size 2. (I'm striking out!)

Does anyone know where I can score some?

Also, I've looked at other hooks...Daiichi 1750, Orvis 0167, even the Mustad 9674...as near as I can tell, none of these hooks go larger than a size #4.

Thank for your help...this is a pretty major crisis for me.

I don't know enough about the different hooks. But I saw a bunch of boxes of mustad #2 hooks in boxes of 1000 for about $25.00 at NPS store down by 15 south and about 17th West. all I remember is that they were a #2. hope that helps Carverscout

I will try to go check it out... the hooks that I'm referring to have a straight eye...rather than the typical bent eye.

What are the specs on that hook? Cabelas has there own hooks that I believe Tiemco make for them. I have used the size 2 4x long 3x heavy and they are a great hook.

I just stoked that your most frequently used hook is a size 2.

You are an animal, Stout.

This would be the hook.

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20431-cat20536_TGP&id=0023382317160a&navCount=4&podId=0023382&parentId=cat20536&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=IJ&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20536&hasJS=true

I have used about 50 of them with out a problem. They have taken a lot of good fish for me. Hope this helps. Price is not to bad and by far a better option than a mustad!

That's it Stoutus... I'll attest to their quality. Same exact thing as the TMC.

It's also a friggin miracle that Nich posted something worthwhile.

I just picked up some 4s at Trout Bum 2 as for the Daiichi's they have a Aberdeen bend straight eye in a 2/0 that is a pretty cool hook. But if you like big think tube, there is nothing better for streamers.

Nich, you are my hero dude!

That is what I NEED! Perfect.

If you are coming to the Wasatch Tying Expo Thursday or Friday night, I will give you one of the bugs I'm tying with these...just to say thanks. :)
