I finally made it to one of the stonefly transplants. Very interesting. Had a great time. I imagined the river had a lot of stonefly nymphs but I had no idea that the crew would collect around 6000 nymphs in a two hour period.
Nice to met up with Royalwulff again and meet some of the other volunteers.
Big thanks to Mark and the bug people. They provided a nice BBQ lunch complete with a cake shaped like a giant stonefly.
