Gay or not gay?

Gay or not gay what? If you think it'll make you gay, don't use it. Simple as that sweetmeat.

Gay or not gay?

Are you serious? Didn't you see the week long thread? The Manual was cracked on this one.

That being said, those things rule.

Quill, how does elk hair do with hanging 4mm of tungsten?

Well.... here is what a guy I know uses it for....

We catch perch --> sew a hook into the perch (like Blue fin tuna fishing) --> use thingamabobber to hold perch at _______ depth --> perch is eaten by Mr. Bass, not junior either.

Use to use "real" balloons but since thingmabobbers don't leave bits and pieces all over the place he has switched to them.

****(live bait was not used in Utah)

The only thing "gay" about fishing is when someone tells another fisherman how to and how not to fish. If thingamabobbers are your thing....do your thing! ;)

Nah, that kinda stuff happens 'round here all the time Nich.?!

Regarding the indicators, I like them. Used 'em all weekend out on the Rio Verde.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

I found another product on the market that uses that special air trapping quality. Here is a picture of them in action.

In all honesty I don't think it matters. If they float and cast well use them if you like them. I was given the advise to find what you like and stick with it. All I know is for the money I can buy a lot of bobbers.
