Hello from Alaska

hey guys. thought i would drop a quick line. it is snowing today in anchorage. i have tomorrow off from work here and i have hopes of either taking some photos or trying to wet a line. it is not looking promising with the weather here. at any rate i met several dudes and natives that have offered up their pad to come back any time and hit the runs in june. I am actually serious about coming back here. Everyone is so chill and it is a nice change of pace. Everyone fishes here in some form or way and it has been fun to talk to all the people that love to fish.

be back thursday sometime....take care. Hopefully I can get some pics when it is clear. Denali is pretty damn cool. The views here are amazing.

Can you feel the envy waves from down here? I've always wanted to see Denali even before I took up fly fishing. I hope you get to wet a line or two. The photos will be awesome.

Hope you're having a good time. Never been to Alaska but someone told me it smells like fish when you get off the plane.

I know everyone goes up there for the salmon, halibut and such, but I've oftened wondered if there are some obscure smaller streams loaded with trout that are virtually untouched because everyone is after the aforementioned fishies. I could really get into some places like that.
