I just picked up a Galvin Torque for my custom 3 wt. SLT Cheech did for me and it's sick!

Yeah, I've heard very good reports about the Galvans, though I haven't tried one myself yet.
Incidentally, what did you not like about the litespeed?

I had a Galvan OB but lost it and replaced it with a Tibor Spring Creek CL on mt 4 wt. On my 6 wt I fish an ATH Rio Orbigo, but I have no clue what to put on a 5 wt. I recommend any quality real that's just a little from the norm. For trout just about anything that will hold line will do the job, but I like to waist money on drag systems that almost never get exercised.

I'll put another vote in for Galvan. I've fished an OB3 for going on 7 years now & the thing is bomber, smooth & easy on the eye when paired up with a pole of similar stature. It's got good brakes too.

I do like the Galvans myself but the Loop's drag system is just way to smooth. If its one important feature i want in a reel is a great drag system ...but thats just my opinion. I got rid of my Ross Evo #2 to pick up the Loop LW4-7 and im not regretting it one bit. Loop also has the Carbon Reels....there not very shiney or glitzy, if your into that then this reel is not for you. These sport the exact same drag system the higher dollar reels have and will only set ya back about $140. If ya feel generous you can buy 2 and mail me one ;) Utahflyguy turned me on to those reels and i was skeptical but once i tried it out performance wise i could not tell the difference between the high dollr loop and the graphite loop. If your in the area Ill let ya check mine out for reference.
