Have any of you had any experience with this stuff? (http://www.snowbeeusa.com) I don't know anything about British gear. I know Nova asked about their lines a while ago, and there wasn't much of a response. I'm a little skeptical of fly fishing stuff sold at costco (http://www.costco.com/Browse/Productgroup.aspx?Prodid=11253493&whse=BC&Ne=4000000&eCat=BC|111|57266|75390&N=4025002&Mo=11&pos=1&No=11&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&cat=75390&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&ec=BC-EC11002-Cat57266&topnav=) but what do I know, really? Is this company one of those little known gems out there?

Costco usually stocks quality items. I think Snowbee makes quality stuff but in the upper lower to lower middle price/quality range. (I hope that makes sense) Probably similar to what Orvis does--rebranding some stuff and manufacturing others. The Snowbee-Waldron is the mass produced version/baby brother of the LAW fly tying vise--arguably the finest fly tying vise made today. Costco's no-questions-asked return policy should make it worth taking one of the Snowbee outfits for a test drive.

If you buy a Brittish combo, I think you have to carry a wicker creel, puff a pipe and sport some tweed. Something about voiding the warranty if you don't......

I wonder if it is a sister company to that vacuum thing that cuts hair. The "FLOWBEE?" I do believe that that thing really sucked.

No really it sucked....

That is how it cut the hair...;)

Good luck with it though. Nothing like a good adventure.

They use the same type of system Airflo does i believe. And, sorry but im not impressed with Airflo one bit. Casting performance is good water performance is poor

You mean I'm not supposed to do wear tweed and puff a mahogony pipe anyways? Geeze, I feel like an idiot.

I agree with spotter that with costco's return policy, it makes it easy to buy-try-and return. But it would be nice to get out and cast one a few times before I make the plunge. And considering your feedback Nova, I may just buy the rod and reel and throw a better line on there. I'll track some down and let you all know.
