Sorry for the short notice.
On Wednesday, March 19, the Cache Anglers meeting will host Bob Trowbridge and Verl Hanchett. Together, Bob and Verl are about as old as Methuselah, so they have got some great stories from quite a while back. Bob will recount some of the history and early days of fly fishing in Northern Utah and share some stories about how Cache Anglers started. Verl is a retired conservation officer, so we've asked him to tell about some of his adventures and escapades. This will be a fun night with some fascinating history.
We will begin at 7:00 pm and finish around 8:30. Please join us at the county courthouse at 179 North Main Street in Logan. You can park in the parking lot immediately west of the building; the conference meeting room is on the main floor near the west side of the building.
Also mark your calendars for a field trip. The Cache Anglers group is planning to go to the Black Canyon of the Bear River below Grace, Idaho on Saturday, March 29. We’ll cover more details at our meeting on the 19th.
