Here's one from Brookie-hunter Herb. The camera had some issues with the cold that day...

Awesome pics Doug.

I think it may be safe to say that Draper Doug is the ultimate big-fish stud.

Yea those fish are gone. i would love to know what happened to them. They were gone before the dwr said people could keep the brook trout . I would suspect they netted them when they schooled up at the mouth in the fall. The cutts are nice but the brooks were awesome

I kind of feel bad for keeping him, but it is the only large fish I've kept in the Winds. I'll be there again for a week in July. Kind of fun fooling around with the camera distance....

I LOVE these fish pic threads......

.....I just need a decent camera and skills.....

What a tank I especially like the trail of blood down the body Yarrrrr!!!!!

How did it taste?

One of the girls that came on the trip volunteered to fillet all fish kept, so she filleted that guy, and fried it up for us as well, and it was amazing. She earned herself the nickname 'chick'fillet, cause she was a hot chick and all fillets were boneless perfect. Nothing is tastes better than backcountry fish that go straight to the pan....

In the last five years I've developed more self control, and that fish would now be released no questions asked...

I've got big expectations for the Winds this year......

Go for the Goldens while you're up there if your expectations are high.
They will blow your mind with their beauty.

The pic of the golden I posted in the "Cutts Pic" thread was from last year, and they are beautiful. This year I'll have a week and will again nail some nice goldens and brookies, but will head to a different area this year.
