Well it has started and on it's way. Haven't heard any reports yet, but I will be there TYING tomorrow (Saturday) from Noon to 4 so stop by.

Not sure what I will be tying except maybe I can get some flies done for some of the swaps I am in and of course MASSIVE QUANTITIES of my Chironomids

I am not the only Female tier at that time, I think Stef Jones is also and she makes the WORLDS best Chocolate Chip Cookies, hope she brings some.

Also Jack Dennis....WAHOOO! It should be fun.

are the tiers there invited to tie? Or do they write an email expressing their interest in tying at the show? Just wondering.

never had Stef's cookies but I will check it out. Is she selling them at a booth? If so, I'll take ten dozen, yes for you math majors out there that's 120 cookies.

Steffi's cookies get a great review on this board. For me they were good. Her personality, outstanding. I think people mix good cookies and personality ( kind of like cinnamon sprinkled on top) to come up with great. I agree.

Most just respond to my requests for help: http://www.utahonthefly.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17817&highlight=volunteers

Others I have on "the list" (names of people who responded to my requests in years past). If you want to be on "the list", just lemme know....

BASS ON!

I went down Thursday evening and Friday afternoon.

I watched Cheech for a few minutes and learned how to tie the Grumpy Frumpy which is an amazing tie. I learned some neat tricks for rubber leg installation and coloring. The I watched Curtis tie a great midge pattern and was there for its official naming "Bungy Buzzer."

That's what is neat about the fly tying area: you can show up and learn some new things from some great tiers.

Thanks for taking time to show me those patterns. I will give them a try in the future.
