I just started tying flies a couple of months ago, so my abilities are really basic; buggers, leeches, a couple nymphs, etc. But tying has gotten my curiosity going, and I've tied some really weird stuff. So what frankenflies have you tied?

This one was made with holiday garland from the downstairs banister. I really don't think it will catch a fish, but it was fun to mess around.

I've been playing around with some R&D cluster midges as of late. They havent touched any water yet.

That'll catch a trout. No doubt in mind.

Good looking fly pat. I like the idea of having the indicator posts on there.

I believe i'd think about calling that one the chinook helicopter.

Betcha it'll catch fish. how small are you tying it and do you mind if I use your pattern?

HAHA.........I thought the same thing after I was done also. Its a size 18 dry fly hook. I dont recall the number right now and 6/0 black threaded body and 2 pieces of 2mm white foam cut square. I like the double posts to make it easier to see since it is small.

You can copy it. Its fine with me.

Here is another Cluster I've been working on.

I'll give it a try. I still have no idea how it will look in water. If it actually works, I'll give it some cheesy holiday-themed name. :)
