For those of you who are going camo wading this weekend, what do you want to see at the tying tables?
I'm for sure going to take a break during the Goose Dancing contest, but while I'm at my station I'll be tying some whacky attractors, some chironomid stuff, and whatever else pops into my brain.
Bored,
Cheech
Question 2-
What five weight rod should I get?

Orvis Helios Wins Field & Stream "Best of the Best" Fly Rod for 2008

"While noting the gains Orvis made in creating the world's lightest fly rod, Field & Stream editors were equally impressed by the added distance and accuracy a Helios rod gives to one's cast:
"We tried to break it on big fish, but couldn't. We cast everything from dry flies to big streamers. It dropped midges on the money in ponds and busted foam hoppers through heavy winds, proving to be responsive and accurate on the light side, and burly in the down-and-dirty.
"And it cast well. In fact, we observed 10-to20-foot distance gains unfurl within a few casts for almost everyone. A 5-weight feels like a 3-weight; a 10-weight feels like an 8-weight."

If we happened to be in the vicinity, what is the schedule for those who will be at the fly tying tables?

I touched more than you have seen. I cast more than you touched. I shot 85 foot a line outta one one time and hooked a delicious largemouth.
I think I'll go with the Helios.
I'll work on the chicks. Should there be a weight limit? 245? 265?

F/V wouldn't let me get closer than 12 feet with the set up of Echos last week from Nightfish. I guess Nick said treat em like your own and F/V took him serious. ;)
Weight limits for myself are a taught 130.

Hey I offered to share....... but somebody would rather toss heavy weighted buggers on a sink tip, in a wind storm, with a 7'10 3 wt ; ) That held its own I might add.... and yes I treated them as my own and they are still in one piece! That reminds me,I still need to send my G2 to get fixed ; )

I'm pretty sure that's what I'm doing.
Cheech is the rod question rhetorical? Because we all know how you feel about the G2! Try giving yourself the same sell you gave me.. Ehhh :)?
I second Chris on the weight cap fo sho! And at 130 ish they better have some legs and be a bit taller. But again I know some guys that love em' a lot bit thicker (Like Hopper-Dropper not naming names here!).

Cheech, If you get a hair-do like "Wildthing" from that Major League show w/Charlie Sheen and where a necklace/name tag that says "Wildthing" and open up each session with the line "Welcome to the show kids, ladies, gents" I'll come watch you tie. Otherwise I will just go poach your land while your away.
