Had a good day tangling with some browns, not the best photos but hopefully worthy of posting...

YEah that spotty fin looks perty cool never seen that coloring before. Thanks for the pics

Dude, I caught that fish las spring.
Seriously though, I caught a brown that had all red spots on its adipose fin like that. When I saw it through the water as I was bringing it in, the red looked so bright and disctinct on that fin that I thought the fish had been broken off a red SJ worm or something on a foul hooking.
That pic was only the second time I've seen the red spotted adipose fin.

Yeah, that adipose fin definately caught my attention. Those are different fish in the last two shots so that gene must have been thrown around a bit in the hole I was fishing. On the last fish shown you can see red spots on the fin as well, though not as prominant as the fish I did the close-up on.

Yeah, I noticed. I figured they were the same trout, but that's kind of crazy that you had two like that in the same spot. Maybe there is something more genetic and less random to the red spottedness.
PM me with the location if you will. I'd like to see if it's around where I caught mine. Be as specific as possible if it's cool. If it's a secret locale that's cool.
