I dug up a couple of past UOTF trip photos:

The infamous Uinta Trip:

And...

A FYAOP trip (before it was considered uncool to go):

Wow, definitely a blast from the past. I wonder how ol' D-Bell is doing. Haven't spoke to him since last year. Even Reg was in attendance. That was a fun weekend.

I saw D-Bell on TV a couple months ago and it looks like he is doing well. He was talking about the incorrect property taxes in his little community he lives in.

The good old days were fun for sure!

Jason, do you remember one of the first fly tying meeting in Utah County? If I remember correctly we met in the cabin up near Vivian Park. The one prior to that was at my work in Provo and I met Curtis Fy for the first time.

We need to take a fishing trip as a big group this summer.

Yeah, but, once again I see that I'm the brunt of the joke. Look closely and you will see Walks is doing the bunny ears above my head. This has caused my complex to hanging out in large groups and has forced me to fish in isolation.

Jason, Mike, & Walks, remember the stream fishing that day during the Uintas trip? What paintings Walks put down on paper!! Lightning ruining families, sad day. Meeting strangers like all those guys in the picture. I was shy and sat on the outskirts of the drum circle just to watch people interact, nice group and great food. Good bad in one day like no other.

No, I watched from my truck edge whilst smoking and partaking of 4% or something like that. We met that day and only that day. I had Mike, Jason and the artist formerly know as "Walksinwater" on a private stretch of the Bear that day. I left about 10 minutes before the sirens started coming up the canyon and the helicopters were roaring in. The rain was intense as the ambulances sped by.

I remember that day well. I was sitting in a float tube on the lake watching the big dark clouds billowing over the peaks. I remember thinking, this looks very threatening. I got off the water broke camp and loaded Steelies truck just as the downpour hit. The thunder and lightning was loud and close. Like Chris, we were on our way down the canyon when the emergency vehicles were racing up the canyon. I remember telling my boys and Steelie, that someone either drove off the road in the downpour or got hit by lightning.

We stopped on the Upper Provo because the sun was shining down the canyon and fished. I think ezlehappy stopped and fished the creek down there too.

When I watched the news that night and saw where the couple was killed by lightning, I was amazed at how close it was to where we camped. I was glad it was no one from our group, but very saddened to find out it was a mother and father of small children.

Guys, there is no reason to not make some more good memories up in the Unitahs this summer. I for one would also be game to hit any lake up in them there hills. Hiking or no hiking that would be awesome.

That is the same trip Doug S. tried shacking up with squirrel in his tent and the squirrel would have any of it.

That night around the fire was a blast! I remember laughing so hard at EZ's hot date story and who can forget Normls famous glazed doughnut story from his college days.

Great times for sure.

Was he a North or South rim squirrel? If he was the South style his name could have been Eronious J. Squirrel Pipe. He has been on the lamb since 1999 for various charges of theft and molestation. Do you have a description?

you should quit analizing others & say something. I've read that you have caught trout.....

....let's hear about it,

before knocking anyone else.

I don't think he was trying to knock you. Lonnie is pretty decent. More of a compliment to you really.

A little originality would go a long way for you though. Just my .02.

There's only one Grizz.
