Just opened my renewal noticeon my 8ft fishcat panther to see that daddy Huntsman and your friendly demo-repub nannies raised the registration fee from $18 to $37 for 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am STEAMING!

Let's see... that's about a third the cost of my minkota......add that to the cost of license, gas.....I thought Golf was a rich man's sport!

The renewal has a note that says, " Please contac your County Assessor for details on the new legislation affecting the age based fee on conoes, jon boats, utility boats, sail boats, pontooon, rubber rafts or any motorvehicle with less than 150 cc's"

Next time you cast, hold on to your wallet!

Chew on that for a while....I going to the mountains now to sulk!

You should see what it costs to put a Minn Kota on my 16ft. Clacka twice a year. What a crock!

TroutButt. If you stay home from the mountains and just sulk at home you will have saved the $19 bucks in gas. Then you will be able to register your boat.

Are you really that mad over $20?

That I do believe is the reason I will never put a motor on my boat. I like it paying for me not the other way around.

its a county thing... mine was a little over $35 this year, same as last.

God gave me legs for a reason so I plan on using them until I can't any longer. I figure with the money that I save I can afford my knee replacement in 45 years that I will need from kicking around. Its a no win situation.

Wa Wa Wa. Go cry in the Forrest. Gas went up a bit as well. Trade your registration for the cost of 1 trip, last year to this, to Dillon Montana. Even if your car is a Prius compared to my Truck.
