I am a moving water guy but while fishing with some friends this weekend was shown how to fish still water. I caught him on a leach pattern below and indicator, not a trophy but my first stillwater fish on a fly rod:

Were you guys fishing from the bank? I saw some guys in a lawn chair out there.

Excuse me for a moment while I pick myself off the floor from laughing so hard. If you can flyfish from a lawnchair on a bank you are a better fisherman than me.

LOL... If I can flyfish from a tube on the water or miss that branch behind me streamside, I could do it from a lawnchair on the bank. ;-P

Yeah, watch out Orvis, although my true dream girl will always be moving water, stillwater is a nice hook up on speed dial.

It's best to spin fish if you gots to use a lawn chair. Improv rigged his scadden with a lawn chair. It's real perty.
