If you had your chance to fish with any one person, dead or alive who would it be? Could be anyone. Explain your reason briefly if you would.

And if you think I'm rubbing those frankenfeet after along day on the water than thats when I say the line has been crossed.

I believe its not the driver but the passengers inside. I have to convince the sherrif that they are not a danger to society.

Teddy Roosevelt. Think about stories that guy could tell.

Earnest Hemingway would be a close second, but only when he was sober and coherent enough to tell tales.

I like how you think. I'd like one day to fish with my grandfather on my mom's side. He died when I was in the 6th grade, and made me the angler I am today....

I would like to fish with Tom Brokaw to see how the 25 spools of flouro I sold him are doing.
Seriously though-Brad Befus perphaps. Spoken with him a few times, and seems like a really nice guy.

Andre Puyans, I was present for his memorial on the Green and every guide that I have talked to said he was just a really quiet guide who was perfectly happy to enjoy his scotch cast a dry and spin some yarns while just enjoying where he was.

But, the coulda beens hurt, so I might actually go another route on this one.

Ya know my first inclination was to head out with ol Jerry Garcia. He never stiked me much of a fisher type though. Very intune with enviromental issues Although I did have the pleasure of rapping with him before his demise and he did share some of his scuba diving stories. Couldnt meet a more humble person. After some thought I think I would like to hit the river with St Peter. Probably one of the most renouned fisherman in history. Wonder how he handles a dry ;)

According to Norman MacLean (I hate that I'm quoting this), not only was John the favorite, he was the dry fly fisherman.

If somehow through the power of time/space continuum and a vehicle that could brake these barriers, I would like to fish with my Grandfather, my Dad and my son – all of us the same age (30 or so). Yet somehow, I want my Grandfather and my Dad to have all the wisdom they would have had if they were old men and my son the maturity a 30 year old.

I know it’s not just one person, but as long as were are dreaming…
