If they ask for more volunteers, I will be leaving Western Rivers tomorrow around 8 am to help in the search. If anyone wants to go with me and help, drop me an email.

This is scary stuff, and these first 96 hours are SO essential to find these missing people.

I guess the woman was never missing, according to an update on KSL.

I might be able to make it up in the morning if the little guy is still missing.

I am planning a grouse hunt in that area tomorrow. If he is still missing I will lend a hand. The nights are getting a lot colder up there now especially for a toddler. I have a sick feeling in my gut!

no worries. i am actually getting a group together, and we are camping around Soapstone tonight. Talking to the S&R team, they have an early squad at the crack of dawn, and we will be meeting then. Around 5:45 or so. It's gonna be COLD.
I guess we can hope for the best tomorrow and see what good we can do in attempting to find this little tyke.

I was just getting loaded up (my gear that is) to head up there when I heard that they had found him. Thank goodness! My heart broke when I thought of a little 3 yr old boy lost and helpless against the elements. Good on you guys that were also prepared to head up and help out. You all deserve a nice helping of good karma!

Funny, I had a feeling there would be guys from this site that would be helping out.

What a relief! It would have been a long difficult night for the little guy. I tip my hat to those who made it up there today and helped search for the missing boy.
